District Cooling Systems 

TAS' modular district cooling systems are designed to support a wide range of customer requirements.  We utilize pre-engineered, modular chilled water systems in which individual units range from 200 up to 8,000 tons.  The modular units can be installed as a single system or in a string of multiple units, depending on the district cooling provider's chilled water capacity requirements.

For district cooling providers, TAS manufactures highly engineered systems designed to minimize energy consumption in the production of chilled water.  We optimize our system design for efficiency performance, which helps minimize electricity consumption, the largest variable cost in owning and operating a district cooling system.  

TAS' district cooling plants can easily be constructed to customer specification.  By leveraging our standard product designs, we can customize a plant design based on the district cooling provider's operating requirements and the configuration of their distribution loop.  Our district cooling plant installations range from 2,900 tons to 120,000 tons as centralized chilled water plants or distributed plants on a dispersed distribution loop
