Energy Efficiency

TAS is a recognized leader in designing, manufacturing and servicing high efficiency cooling, heating and power systems.  From our inception we have focused on "owner value" in delivering some of the industry's most efficient chilled water systems.  With our focus on minimizing life cycle cost (LCC), TAS helps facility owners and managers reduce energy consumption and operating cost.  Reducing energy consumption is also good for the environment.  TAS is actively helping building owners reduce their facility's carbon footprint through the installation of chilled water comfort cooling systems that improve efficiencies by up to 50%, as compared to well maintained air-cooled systems. 

Standard Chilled Water Product Designs

TAS designs and engineers standard chilled water products for the power generation, district cooling, commercial comfort cooling and industrial process cooling industries.  TAS' standard chilled water products range from 200 to 8000 tons for individual units.  Individual units can be installed in a string for district cooling applications with capacities exceeding 100,000 tons. 

In the power generation industry, our chilled water systems support both simple and combined cycle natural gas turbines of all sizes, ranging from 4 MW to over 200 MW per gas turbine.

Custom Engineered Chilled Water Systems

In addition to designing standardized chilled water products, TAS has a dedicated engineering team supporting custom engineered chilled water system requirements.  Thousands of engineering hours have been invested to revolutionize the design of chilled water standard products and customer specified custom projects.  Our technical team consists of full engineering capabilities to support all facets of custom project design. 

Application Engineered Clean Heat & Power (CHP) Systems

If you require support with an on-site clean heat and power (CHP) system, TAS' Application Engineering team will engineer the optimal system in satisfying your facility's space and water conditioning application requirements.  Our on-site CHP engineering applications expertise falls within the 1–10 MW range for typical commercial and industrial applications. 

Turnkey Project Management 

TAS sells its standard product and custom project solutions directly to owners or to whomever building owners designate to manage new construction or retrofit projects.  TAS works with owner's engineers, general contractors, mechanical engineering firms and other professionals in the sale and installation of our highly engineered cooling and energy systems.  TAS will manage full turnkey installation of a product if requested by our customer.
