TAS’ Industrial Solutions engineering team offers over 20 years experience in every industrial refrigeration & process system that we’ve designed and built.  Our modular refrigeration and process systems ranges from 1,000 to 9,000 tons (3.5 to 32MW) of refrigeration capacity utilizing various refrigerants for applications as low as –40ºF.  With TAS’ focus on environmentally friendly refrigerants, our standard systems are ammonia based.  However, our system design concepts allow for a wide range of flexibility with a variety of refrigerants to meet any application requirements.

In addition to our technical expertise, design software is a critical foundation to our system design and validation.  Design and validation start with process modeling of any proposed systems.  We have adopted HYSYS, as our core process modeler for design and validation of our systems and for sizing of major components such as exchanger, compressors, valves and piping.  In addition to process modeling expertise, we have software expertise in Autocad, SolidWorks (3D) modeling, STAAD model, and in-house custom developed modeling programs.
 
Our technical expertise and experience enables TAS to develop process systems for the Oil & Gas, Power and industrial process markets.  As highlights of our expertise, we have designed two of the largest ammonia refrigeration systems in the world for the power industry. With our combination of analysis tools and engineering expertise, TAS is uniquely positioned to cost effectively support a wide range of industrial processes – from design to validation – no matter how complex the customer process.
