Houston is a great city to live in.  If you’re a golfer – you can play 365 days a year.  If you enjoy dining out – Houston is the city of great food ranging from Texas sized steaks to Cajun cuisine.  Houston has over 650 city and county parks with all sorts of amenities including walking trails, playgrounds and if you like to run – the running trail at Memorial Park.

Houston offers plenty of sunshine.  The region averages 59% of possible sunshine annually, ranging from 45% in January to 70% in July. The average annual temperature is 69.9 degrees, with highs in the summer averaging 84 degrees and winter lows averaging about 50 degrees.

Whether you are single or have a family, Houston offers plenty to see and do.  With Nasa, downtown clubs, the beaches at Galveston, the Museum district, zoo and the concerts – you’ll never be at a loss for something to do.

If you have a young family there are a number of excellent school districts in the Houston area to select from.  This is the can do city and we invest in our schools to make them competitive on a national scale.
